TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION IN EVENTS, STATEMENT OF EXEMPTION FROM LIABILITY, PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING, AND AUTHORIZATION FOR PHOTOGRAPHIC AND VIDEO RECORDING.

I declare freely, spontaneously and voluntarily that I have decided to register and attend at my own risk and responsibility to the activity or event, hereinafter "THE EVENT" either “THE ORGANIZATION”, organized by JAO MARKETING SAS, which may be held in various cities across the country; Therefore, having read this declaration, knowing the risks, and considering that I accept them by participating in them, on my own behalf and on behalf of anyone acting on my behalf, I am aware of the following terms and conditions:

I declare that I know, have read and accept the Terms, Conditions of participation, the Frequently Asked Questions with their answers, the declaration of exemption from liability of The Event, Protection of Personal Data Processing, regulations and Authorization of Photographic and Video Registration, published in any of the registration media (physical or virtual), on the website (corremitierra.com, jaoeventos.com, carreradelasrosas.com) and I understand that registration for The Event gives me the right to participate in it, which I have understood and accepted voluntarily.

I understand and accept that, in case of not attending THE EVENT, I will not have any right to claim the medal, it will be given only to those who cross the finish line after completing the race on the day and place established. THE EVENT.

I didn't claim my race kit and couldn't attend the race. What can I do?
We can send you the race kit, specifically the T-shirt, to the local address you provide, as long as you assume the cost of logistics, handling and shipping paid in advance. Informing that the shipping value will be defined by the organization.

What if I couldn't enjoy the race, and I want the medal?
Whatever the reason you couldn't attend, The medal will only be awarded to those who cross the finish line.

Can I claim the kit on Sunday or race day?
There will be no option to claim the kit on race day; you must claim the kit on the designated days.

By signing up for THE EVENT I certify that I am in perfect physical, mental and optimal health conditions, as well as adequately informed that I must be trained to participate in it and make this physical effort, and that the Organization recommends that all registered participants undergo a strict prior medical evaluation at their own expense to certify this statement; I also declare that I do not suffer from any illness, injury and/or disability and/or condition that disqualifies me from participating in THE EVENT or any condition that makes it advisable not to participate in it.

I am aware of the sports and medical recommendations that I must adopt to participate appropriately in THE EVENT, taking into account my physical condition and personal circumstances.

I also certify that I am affiliated with the Social Security Health Insurance (EPS), which is valid for the day the Event will take place. I also agree that any injury or health problem will be processed by me through my EPS.

I am fully aware that if on the date of execution of THE EVENT If I meet any of the following conditions, I will not be able to participate in the competition, nor will I be able to request a refund of the registration fee:

  1. Virus contagion.
  2. State of pregnancy.
  3. State of intoxication or under the influence of psychoactive substances.
  4. Heart disease.
  5. Respiratory diseases.
  6. Use of crutches, casts and/or prostheses.

 

And all those conditions that disqualify my participation. If I participate in any of these circumstances or in other similar ones, I release the Organization from all liability, informing that I participate under my own responsibility, knowing the risks; I will also accept any decision of the Organization regarding my participation in THE EVENT.

I declare that I WILL NOT ATTEND to THE EVENT If I suspect I have COVID 19 or any of its variants, have associated symptoms such as fever, sore throat, muscle pain, difficulty breathing, shortness of breath, or loss of smell or taste, have been in contact with a positive case of VIRUS within the days prior to THE EVENT.

By signing up for THE EVENT I am aware of and assume all risks associated with my participation in THE EVENT including, but not limited to:

  1. Falls.
  2. Accidents.
  3. Diseases.
  4. Injury or death.
  5. Any type of calamity generated by my medical or clinical history.
  6. For contact with the participants.
  7. Dehydration.
  8. The consequences of climate, such as temperature and/or humidity.
  9. Vehicular traffic and road conditions.

And in general all the risk that I declare known, by chance and valued by me, due to the fact that the activity during the development of THE EVENT will be under my exclusive control and execution as a participant.

By signing up for THE EVENT I authorize the Organizers, allies and/or sponsors to use, edit, publish, reproduce, distribute and/or license the images, photos, videos and audiovisual material in THE EVENT, whose rights I hold. I acknowledge that this authorization does not imply any remuneration, including royalties, or other compensation resulting from its use. I understand that the images, photos, videos, and audiovisual material may be edited, copied, displayed, published, or distributed, by various means, including electronic means, without my having the right to examine or authorize the reproduction of the final product in which they appear. This authorization has no expiration date nor is it restricted by any geographical limit regarding the distribution and/or reproduction of this image. I also certify that I have the authority to grant the aforementioned rights and that the exercise of these rights does not infringe the intellectual property or image rights of third parties.

As the owner of the personal data that I provide, I authorize in a prior, express and informed manner the processing of the same by the organizers of THE EVENT, allies and/or sponsors, for the purpose of carrying out related activities, which will be processed manually or electronically through any means, and will be incorporated into the databases of the organizers, allies and/or sponsors, among other activities, sending information, promotions and advertising from the organizers via SMS to cell phones, emails to the registered email address and/or telephone contact to the telephone numbers and cell phones provided, at no cost to me. Likewise, I have the right to reserve the right to answer questions that deal with sensitive information or data of girls, boys or adolescents.

As the owner of the personal data that I provide, I have the following rights in addition to those provided for in the Constitution, the law and its regulations: a) To know, update and rectify my personal data before the Organizers of THE EVENT, allies and/or sponsors. b) Request proof of the authorization granted to the Organizers of THE EVENT, allies and/or sponsors, except when expressly excepted as a requirement for processing, in accordance with the provisions of Article 10 of Law 1581 of 2012; c) Be informed by the Organizers of THE EVENT, partners, and/or sponsors, upon request, regarding the use they have given to my personal data; d) Revoke my authorization and/or request the deletion of my data when the processing thereof does not respect the constitutional and legal principles, rights, and guarantees, and in other cases provided for by law; e) Access my personal data that has been processed free of charge. f) File complaints with the Superintendency of Industry and Commerce for violations of the provisions of the aforementioned law and other regulations that modify, add to, or complement it.

By signing up for THE EVENT, I agree that communication between the Organization and the participants will be via emails, SMS text messages, WhatsApp or Telegram messages, social media, and the website. Therefore, I agree to receive emails and messages for information and promotions about the sporting event, in order to be informed about all its details.

In case I unsubscribe or unsubscribe from the database to send information, I accept that it will be my responsibility to know everything related to the email since I will not receive any information from THE EVENT after this action.

What does race registration include?
Each participant who takes part in the event will be able to obtain the following benefits:

  • Official T-shirt or Jersey.
  • Finisher Medal (for participants who officially finish the race)
  • Official number with chip for measurement
  • Hydration on the route + finish line
  • Isotonic drink 15K/21K (Route+Finish)
  • Isotonic drink 5K/10K (Goal)
  • Fruit (Banana or other)
  • Road closure for safety
  • Basic route signage.
  • Health scheme
  • Race day wardrobe.
  • Logistics coordination


I accept and am aware that the gifts, souvenirs or items provided by sponsors, partners or allies are limited and are not a direct part of the kit, therefore it is not guaranteed that all participants will have access to said items, souvenirs or gift items.

By signing up for THE EVENT I am clear that the Organization has the power to change prices without prior notice, in addition to having the power to close registrations when required, without prior notice.

What is the deadline to register? What if I filled out all the information but didn't pay or the transaction was rejected (pre-registration)? And am I guaranteed a spot and rate once I pre-register?
Registration is open until all spots are filled; pre-registration, i.e., completing the form without making the full payment, does not guarantee registration, nor does it guarantee the rate, as it increases as the race date approaches. To be officially registered for the event, you must have paid in full; please note that the rate increases as the race date approaches. To be officially registered for the event, you must have paid in full.

How do I resume payment?
Enter to https://jaoeventos.com/consultarInscripciones/1 and log in with the email and ID you used to pre-register. Remember to continue with the payment, as pre-registration does not save your place in the course nor does it retain the amount you were going to register for.

I agree that all minors under 15 years of age must be accompanied by a registered adult at the same distance from the minor and must commit to their care, exonerating The Organization from any eventuality.

How can I register my child under 15 years old?
Login here, select the event, and then the 5k distance, fill out the form as an adult with your data and pay it (you must select the same distance for the adult and the child 5K)Once you've completed your registration, return to the "Register" button and do the same for your child's registration. When choosing a category, select: Kids' 5K, then choose the Basic or Full Kit, depending on your preference. A field will appear where you must enter the ID number you used to register ("This document is valid"). Then, enter all of your child's information, accept the terms and conditions, and proceed to make the payment. That's it.

I accept that corporate rates will apply solely and exclusively to the percentages and dates defined by the organization, these may change without prior notice and no prices of any kind are supported.

By registering my employees through the business registration form, I agree that employees will only be registered once the company has made the respective payment for the rate on the payment date.

I understand that reservations for company spots are not guaranteed by submitting the application form; the guarantee is established only upon making the corresponding payment, under the same conditions as pre-registration and registration.

How can I register my company's collaborators?
If you want to register your collaborators, you must write to us at the contact information attached below, requesting the registration form.

There will be a percentage discount on business registrations with at least 20 adult registrants. This discount applies to the general or basic registration price; it does not apply to registrations for minors under 15 years of age, nor to clothing, merchandise, or special services.

I agree that group or running club rates will apply solely and exclusively to the percentages and dates defined by the organization. These rates are subject to change without prior notice, and prices are not fixed.

How can I register my running team or club?
If you want to register your club or running team, please write to us using the contact information below and request the registration form.

Each club or team will have a personalized coupon with a discount percentage, which can be shared among team members, allowing each of them to register individually.

These coupons will have an expiration date; however, if the quota is exhausted before this expiration date, the coupon cannot be used and there is no refund process.

This discount applies to the general or basic registration price; it does not apply to registrations for minors up to 15 years of age, nor to clothing, merchandise, or special services.

Clubs registering more than 20 adult runners will receive a 100% discount for every 20 runners, up to a maximum of 4 total per club. See coupon conditions.

When registering for the event, I understand that the organizers have the authority to change prices without prior notice and to close registrations whenever required, even if a different date has been announced. Therefore, it is recommended that you pay your forms on the same day you submit them.

Fees will be tiered based on dates or registration goals, so they will increase as the event date approaches.

What payment methods are available to me?
All registrations must be made virtually and payment can be made through https://jaoeventos.com/ through the payment gateway WOMPI that allows you to pay with debit card -PSE-, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Credencial, Dinners, Bancolombia Button, Nequi, Bancolombia E-prepaid credit cards.

Can I pay with Nequi?
You can pay, but the participant must assume and accept that all payments generated by transfer from the Nequi platform will only be entered into the system 48 hours after the purchase is made.

Can I pay by bank transfer?
If you don't have these methods or the platform doesn't allow you to pay electronically, you can use these alternative payment methods:

IMPORTANT: For any of the options other than payment through the digital platform after completing the form, you must send us support to WhatsApp +57 3218553951 with the ID number of the person(s) to whom the payment corresponds, in order to identify them and register them in the system, later you will receive your confirmation email.

Please note that you must send us this receipt immediately after making the payment., Since, if you make the payment and do not send us the receipt, you will not be registered for the event.If we close registrations and the payment is not up to date, the Organization reserves the right to accept the registration.

I understand that if I purchase or register for my kit using options other than virtual payment, I must send proof of payment for validation, and that the Organization must confirm my registration; otherwise, my spot cannot be guaranteed.  

Can I pay through a branch or bank correspondent?
PAYMENTS ARE NOT ACCEPTED
 through a physical branch or bank correspondent. If you do so, the registration fee will be $13,000 Colombian pesos.

As an institution, sponsoring company, partner, individual, influencer, or ambassador, upon receiving a complimentary coupon, I acknowledge and accept that these coupons have no monetary value, are non-negotiable, non-exchangeable, or resalable. They are personal and non-transferable. Registration and use cannot be transferred.

It is not possible to use the complimentary coupon for events other than the one assigned.

This coupon is valid for basic or general registration and does not include accessories such as socks, visors, or other merchandise. Discount coupons below 100% do not apply to registrations in children's categories (5K Kids and 2K Kids), as these registrations have a preferential rate.

If these coupons are misused, they will be automatically disabled and will not be replaced for the person or company to whom they were assigned.

Sponsoring institutions or companies, partners, or individuals will receive a complimentary coupon for every million pesos invested. Each coupon must be redeemed as soon as possible after being assigned by the Organization. THE EVENT within the stipulated dates, as long as the quotas have not been exhausted. Once the date or registration period has been exhausted, these coupons will be disabled and will not be reassigned.

Where do I claim race kits?
Race kits must be claimed by the respective participant within 2 to 3 days prior to the event. The specific location and times will be communicated via email to the email address you provided when registering. Delivery times are typically between 11:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. on weekdays. Delivery times are from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturdays.

Can someone else claim the kit for me?
If you can't claim the kit in person for any reason, another person can claim it, as long as they bring a digital or printed image of your ID. Each person can claim up to four kits in line. If you want to claim more, you'll have to re-queue to claim up to four additional kits, and so on.

Can I claim my team kit?
I understand, acknowledge and accept that, when making a claim for kits on behalf of third parties, I will be limited to a maximum of four (4) sets and I must present, digitally, in a photo, or physically, the ID of the person for whom I am claiming the kit with a letter of authorization that does not require authentication; If this amount is exceeded, I agree to rejoin the corresponding queue to manage additional claims, in order to guarantee a fair and efficient process.

Can I claim my company's kits?
To arrange delivery for groups or companies of more than 20 people, we require advance notice, so please inform us at least 15 days in advance.

By signing up for THE EVENT, I accept that JAO MARKETING SAS – CorreMiTierra, Carrera de las Rosas and its other events – does not make refunds under any circumstances, taking into account that event inventories are produced months before each event takes place. 

Can I change the distance I initially signed up for?

You can make distance changes free of charge up to one day before the Event. If you make the distance change 45 days before the Event, we can guarantee that the change will be reflected in both the time-measuring chip and your number information. However, if you make the change within 45 days of the Event, we can only guarantee that the change will be reflected in the time-measuring chip, as the number will already be produced.

What happens if I cannot participate due to force majeure?
If you cannot participate in  THE EVENT created by JAO MARKETING SAS, for reasons of force majeure or any situation that may arise, you will have the option to transfer your registration, as long as this transfer is carried out before the date stipulated by the organization, that is, up to 30 days before the race, as long as it is not a courtesy of 100% previously redeemed.

The transfer may incur administrative fees or costs corresponding to the difference in rates between the initial registration payment and the price on the date you wish to make the change. For example: If you purchased your registration for 197,000 pesos, and when you transfer it, the registration value is 247,000 pesos, you will have to pay $50,000 pesos.

I accept and understand that by transferring a registration that is in my name to another runner, selling it or giving it away without going through the due process through the Customer Service team of the company organizing the event, it automatically means that the person who participates using someone else's registration WILL NOT BE COVERED BY ANY OF THE EVENT'S OR THE ORGANIZATION'S INSURANCE.

*The Organization reserves the right to suspend these changes at any time it deems appropriate and without prior notice.

Can registration be transferred to another version of the event?

Yes, you can transfer your registration as many times as you wish to another event organized by GRUPOJAO, as long as this process is carried out up to (15) fifteen days before the event you are registered for, as long as it is not a courtesy of 100%.

For this purpose, you must assume the highest cost of any of these costs:

  1. An administrative position.
  2. The difference between the initial registration fee and the current fee for the event you wish to change to.

If the change is due to health reasons, you must present a medical certificate issued by an entity affiliated with the Ministry of Health, certifying that you cannot participate in the event. Under these circumstances, your registration will be held for next year's event or for an event in the same year in which you are eligible to participate. However, please note that: No refunds will be issued, and you will be responsible for the difference between the initial registration fee and the current fee for the event you wish to change.

What happens if I can't participate in the event due to a change of date, for organizational reasons? If the organizers have changed the date of the event, I have the right to change my ticket at no cost within 20 days of receiving notification of the change, provided that the change is between identical events, for example, CorreMiTierra to CorreMiTierra or from Carrera de las Rosas to Carrera de las Rosas in different cities. If I wish to change my ticket between different types of events, for example, CorreMiTierra to Carrera de las Rosas or vice versa, I will only be responsible for the excess registration fee for the other race at the current rate on the date of the change.

I understand and know that, at the time of my registration or pre-registration to THE EVENTThe organization has been producing the kits (shirts, numbers, medals, among others) for some time now; therefore, the claim period established by Law 1480 of 2011 in the Consumer Statute begins to run from this moment.

I understand that the Organization must produce the t-shirts or clothing for the Event prior to my registration, and therefore I accept that if, when I claim my kit, the size selected at the time of my registration is not available, the Organization may provide me with a t-shirt or clothing item in the size that is available without any claims or refunds.

Is there a refund?
JAO MARKETING SAS – CorreMiTierra
, Carrera de las Rosas and its other events - does not make refunds under any circumstances. Taking into account the CONSUMER STATUTE - LAW 1480 OF 2011; registrations made virtually will have a maximum term to exercise the right of withdrawal of five (5) business days, for cases that apply, counted from the payment taking into account that the production of all race kits, permits and event logistics is carried out based on the number of people registered months prior to the development of the event, Transportation costs and others that entail the return of the good or service such as administrative or financial expenses will be covered by the consumer and will have a value of $35,000 COP, after thirty calendar days the refund would be made.

Will there be hydration points?
There are hydration points with water every 2.5 to 3 kilometers on average. Additionally, for distances over 15 kilometers, we will have isotonic drink stations for all competitors.

Is the t-shirt mandatory in the race?
The official T-shirt is not mandatory during the race; however, the Organization reserves the right to give priority to participants wearing the official T-shirt to start from the first corral at the "Start" of the race.

Participants wishing to appear on the podium and the recognition and awards platform must wear the official organization t-shirt. T-shirts sponsored by brands other than CORREMITIERRA are not permitted on the platform.

The Organization may occasionally require the use of a T-shirt to control entry to the event. The Organization may require this, after communicating this through its social media channels.

Is the shirt the same as last year?
Every year the t-shirts have a new design.

Does the shirt come with my personalized name or nickname?
We'll have the option to customize your jersey once you claim your race kit; this service has an additional cost. This service is available at certain events, not all.

Can I be guaranteed the size of the shirt I ordered?
On the registration form, fill out the size field informatively, keeping in mind that T-shirt production begins months before registration, is limited to an estimated number of participants, and the sizing chart is based on historical data from past years and registration trends. For this reason, we cannot guarantee the size or color upon kit delivery. We recommend that you claim your kit on the first day assigned for delivery.

In order to give you the freedom to change your jersey size, we allow runners to choose the jersey size that best suits their needs upon kit delivery, even if it's not necessarily the same size they selected on the registration form.

What is the sizing of the shirt? (Large, small or normal)
Sizing is standard; we have women's and men's fits depending on your choice. For example, if you normally wear a size L in a sports tee, you can choose the same size when you sign up.

By registering for The Event, you acknowledge and agree that, in order to personalize your race number, I must complete the registration process no later than one month before the start of the kit distribution. This is due to the production deadline, which must be respected to ensure the proper preparation and production of the personalized items. I understand and acknowledge that all age ranges used during the event do not apply to public recognition, only to the positions on the certificates issued after the race.

Is it mandatory to wear the race number?
I understand and accept that on the day of the event, it is mandatory to wear the competition number on the front of the event, attached to the abdomen with the corresponding hooks (it should not be carried loosely in the hand). The number must be visible at the entrance to the event, as well as visible to judges, security checkpoints, and gate-crashers.

Additionally, the number you must carry is the one provided by the organization. That is, printed, photocopied, or altered numbers are not permitted in any way. This will prevent the entry of gatecrashers or people who did not properly follow all the procedures, and will prevent you from being removed from the event route.

Can I give my number to another participant or friend who is not registered?
I accept and understand that my race number is personal and non-transferable, and therefore cannot be assigned. If it is, I agree that I will be removed from the event along with the person to whom I transferred my registration. Additionally, I understand that by transferring my number to a non-registered person and by participating with a number belonging to someone other than myself, I am not covered by any insurance or event service policies.

Can I give my number or bib a name or nickname?
The number will be personalized with your name or nickname - up to 10 characters maximum - for people who registered up to 45 days before the race date. If you registered less time than agreed, we cannot guarantee your personalized number, since this is the time it takes to produce. We will also leave space so you can mark and decorate it to your liking, without these covering the numbers or design of the official shirt.

Can I change my NICKNAME?
You can change your nickname, which will be personalized on your number or bib, up to 45 days before the race via WhatsApp at +57 3218553951.

CorreMiTierra is a 100% sporting event recreationalOur purpose is to promote sports and a healthy lifestyle, enjoying a friendly, family-oriented atmosphere. We are true to our philosophy of "Your Challenge Is Your Victory," and especially considering that your best competition is with yourself, not with others, regardless of whether you finish first, second, in the middle, or last. For this reason, we don't promote monetary prizes for first place, as only a few runners can achieve those positions. However, we do award first place prizes in various categories.

Therefore, by registering, you accept that you are fully aware that no monetary prizes are awarded to the first places in the competition at The Event.

What is the race's prize money for first place finishers?
Public, non-financial recognition is given to the top three places in each category by the organizers.

How is the podium finish for each distance handled?
In case there is an award in THE EVENT, will be defined by the Gun time, NOT by Chip time. Gun time is the time measured from the start of THE EVENT to the finish line. The chip time will be used for informational and/or statistical purposes only.

What are the categories that are recognized?
For the first places, recognition will be given in the 10K, 15K and 21K distances with a first-place trophy in the following categories, both female and male, in the age ranges between:

  • Up to 20 years
  • 21 to 30 years old
  • 31 to 40 Years
  • 41 to 50 Years
  • 50 years and older

For second and third place finishes in the 10K, 15K and 21K distances, a plaque or trophy will be awarded in the following categories, both female and male, in the following age ranges:

  • Up to 40 years of age
  • Ages 41 and older

In the 5K distance, the first place in the GENERAL category (without age range) is recognized with a plaque or trophy in both the female and male categories.

It will be the responsibility of each participant to know the route very well. THE EVENT in which you will participate, therefore, in case you get lost on the route or take the wrong route, by registering you exempt all the organizers or those involved from all responsibility. THE EVENTIn this case, there will be no claims for prizes, positions, or times recorded, nor will there be any refund.

Routes may be modified up to the last minute in accordance with guidelines issued by various city agencies, such as the Ministry of Mobility, the Ministry of Government, and the risk and disaster management and control institutions of the various cities, among others.

Each race and each city will have stipulated distances according to the requirements and authorizations of each mobility department and the city government where the event is held.

Is the race measurement accurate?
We try to keep the distances as close to the exact measurement as possible. However, given that this is a recreational 10k race, the distances assigned for each race can vary up to a maximum of 5k. For example, a 10k race can vary between 9.5k and 10.5k.

What are the routes?
Once we have the routes approved by the mobility department of the city where the recreational race is held, we will publish the route of each of the distances, with the respective altimetry, on our website. CorreMiTierra.com, as well as on our social networks @CorreMiTierra. May be subject to change

It is important and the responsibility of each participant to carefully study the route and the different detours for the different distances.

Where can I check my times after the race?
In jaoeventos.com/results, once our timing partner processes all the official results. Additionally, it will be sent via SMS to the local cell phone number registered when completing the registration form for the respective event.

What will the departure times be for the different distances?
It is essential to arrive at the event at least one hour before the departure time indicated on our social media and website.

It will be the responsibility of each participant to know and comply with the departure and arrival times at THE EVENT, as well as claiming the kit on the days and at the locations established by the organization. If I fail to comply with these established times and days, there will be no refund or claim.

Start times may be changed by the organizer depending on the circumstances on race day and the guidelines established with the race control authorities in each city. To this end, it is essential that each runner be aware of announcements and/or calls from the organizers at the race start.

If a participant runs with the wrong distance, they will be automatically disqualified and the timing system will eliminate them and will not record any finish times.

How can I purchase race photos?
We have an agreement with a company specializing in sports photography, which will provide runners with a team of photographers who will take thousands of photos to capture the different moments.

This service has a pre-sale price that you can take advantage of up to a few days before the race. If you book after the scheduled date, you'll have to pay a slightly higher price.

Depending on the photo provider, the runner's facial identification will be used, which means you'll need to take a photo in the provider's system when searching for photos. In other cases, the identification may be the race number, so you'll need to mark the number correctly on your stomach.

Do you guarantee how many photos I will get?
We cannot guarantee that 100% of participants will be registered, or a defined number of photos per runner, however, although it is not normal, in case of not appearing in any photo and reviewing the possibilities with the provider, THE PHOTO PROVIDER will be responsible for returning the money of the pre-sale price you paid for the service.

When will the photos be released and where can I see them?
PHOTOS will be available 1-2 days after the race, or no later than the Thursday following the race. To view and/or purchase photos, please follow the link we will provide on our social media channels, depending on the provider.

What is Wompi?
Wompi is Bancolombia's electronic payment gateway used by JAO MARKETING SAS to process registration payments. You can pay securely with credit cards from all establishments, PSE, and Nequi.

Is it safe to enter my details to pay on WOMPI?
To protect your data, CORREMITIERRA delegates the capture of sensitive information to Wompi. Our payment gateway complies with the highest standards required by the international PCI DSS standard for credit card transaction security. It also has an SSL security certificate issued by GeoTrust, a Verisign company, which guarantees secure communications by encrypting all data to and from the site. This way, you can feel confident when entering your card information. During the payment process, the name of the authenticated organization and the certifying authority are displayed in the browser, and the address bar turns green. These features are immediately visible and provide assurance and confidence to complete the transaction on Wompi.

My payment is frozen or pending approval. What should I do?
If you have a payment pending approval, the payment gateway blocks the payment option for approximately 3 hours for security reasons. This alert may appear for any of the following reasons: you have attempted to log in repeatedly with incorrect account information, you have taken too long to log in to the payment gateway, your internet is unstable, or there is suspicion of fraud. If you receive a PAYMENT PENDING APPROVAL alert when paying, please contact us.

I haven't received a registration confirmation email. What should I do?
When you pay online, you'll automatically receive a confirmation email notifying you that you're registered, including the distance, dates, and kit pickup location. If you don't receive it, please check your Spam or Junk Mail (sometimes it goes there) or your promotional folder. If you definitely haven't received it, contact us via WhatsApp at +57 3218553951.

Does paying electronically have any cost for me as a buyer?
No, there's no cost to you. Financial institutions do generate a cost through PSE payments or credit card deductibles, but in this case, that amount is borne by the organization.

Can I change the payment method?
If you haven't completed your payment yet, you can return to the initial step and choose your preferred payment method. Once your purchase is complete, it's not possible to change your payment method.

Can I make a payment any day at any time?
Yes, you can make your payments online 24/7 with just a click.

What should I do if my transaction was declined or frozen?

What should I do if I didn't receive my payment receipt?

I received an invoice from JAO Marketing. Why?
JAO MARKETING SAS
 is the company that invoices registrations for this event, so in addition to the registration notification and proof of payment, you will receive an electronic invoice.

Can I go with companions to the race?
Companions may attend the race; however, they may not be located in the designated areas for participants or enter the race experience area for runners.

The experience area, the start and finish lines, are for the exclusive use of runners, sponsors, and the organization. Limited products are available for runners ONLY.

Will they have control of the people who sneak in?
The Organization has a strict security and gatecrashing control system in place, meaning that any unscrupulous person attempting to enter without an official race number, with photocopied or falsified numbers, or even someone who does not wear the number correctly (visibly), may be removed from the race, without any problems for the organization.

Why aren't they letting in the gatecrashers if the streets are public?
To properly organize a city event, the organizing company must assume high costs for road closures, government payments, logistics personnel, food and hydration costs, and many other services for runners.

Those who have not paid the race registration fee, regardless of the circumstances, are not entitled to all the benefits that the Organization offers to officially registered participants.

The streets are public, so they can run on sidewalks in other areas of the city.

With the fare freeze, you can reserve your spot at CORREMITIERRA or CARRERA DE LAS ROSAS, ensuring your fare won't increase or your spot will be lost.

  • For this to happen, you must secure your spot by making a payment of 30% of the fare.
  • Your rate will not be changed, even if you have a discount coupon.
  • You can make several partial payments up to one month before the race.
  • It is mandatory that you have paid the 100% of the frozen rate before one month
  • After the month, neither the quota nor the rate will be saved.
  • If you do not complete your registration before the agreed-upon date, there will be no refund of the initial 30% payment.
  • If you have paid a higher amount to the 30%, you will be reimbursed the difference between the total paid and the initial payment of the 30%, there will be a deductible of $35,000 for administrative costs*

Example*: Price $210,000, you make two payments, one initial of 30% for $63,000, and an additional one of $100,000, or a total of $163,000. You decide not to participate or you did not pay the final balance of $47,000. You will be entitled to a refund of Payments x $163,000 less (-) $63,000 corresponding to the initial payment less (-) $35,000 of administrative costs = $65,000 this value would be the amount to be returned to you by the JAO organization.

Will you have an area to store clothes or objects?
We will have a cloakroom service free of charge. Please do not leave or bring valuables in the cloakroom. We will not be responsible for these items. You will have up to one hour after the event ends to claim your belongings. If they are not collected, they will be donated within the following three business days.
